We have recently been informed that dog flippers are  currently targeting  yorkie, peke,  pug, and chinese crested breed dogs.

As usual, they want it cheap or free and of course they "promise" to love your dog and get it fixed!

BE CAREFUL!

If you are thinking of handing a dog over to anyone, especially on "Craigslist please do the following:

• 1. Get if fixed first (so it won't end up in a puppymill- many do).
• 2. Get references from the adopter (especially a veterinarian reference and call them).
• 3. Visit the home and get to know the family.
• 4. Get a good sized rehoming fee so the "adopter" can't make a profit by re-selling your dog.
• 5. And finally, consider rehoming your dog through some place other than Craigslist, such as a breed specific LEGITIMATE rescue organization.
